Broth dilution method: In broth dilution method microorganisms are subjected to a series of concentrations of antimicrobial agent in a broth suspension

This can be performed by either a Micro broth dilution method where the volumes are 0.05-0.1 ml and easily performed in a micro titre plate, or Macro broth dilution method in this method the broth volume is usually 1 ml and performed in standard test tubes

Procedure for both methods is same except the volume of broth
